Broadgate 4 Bikes - About Us

Broadgate for bikes was started in 1982 by Chris Bradford in a farm shed
in Weston hills on a road called Broadgate hence the name.

We soon outgrew the farm shed and moved to a new unit in Blackbarnwhere
we were for 3 years before we had to move again to yet bigger premises.
Our reputation grew and we moved to a 7000 sq ft building in Long Sutton
where we were for 21 years.  We became a main dealer for Aprilia and
stocked over 90 used machines along with clothing, spares and workshop
facilities.  In November 2005 the building was destroyed by fire and
everything was lost, within a month (December 2005) we had re-opened at
our present location, be it a lot smaller we still stock over 50 used
machines and are a main dealer for Reiju and Baotion.


In 1996 he was joined by his brother James who is the sales manager and
workshop advisor, he shares a passion for motorsport and speedway.
